Our Purpose

Jesus House Columbia is a ministry of the Redeemed Christian Church of God—a center of excellence in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

We believe in and submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in every area of our lives.

We are passionate about God’s Kingdom and fully committed to the Holy Bible as the authoritative Word of God. Guided by biblical principles and empowered by His grace, we strive to live according to His Word.

We are a Spirit-filled people—believing in the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues. We are devoted to prevailing prayer and live in continual gratitude to God.

Our Responsibility

  1. To believe in total salvation through Jesus Christ and to evangelize the world with the message of God’s kingdom—taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people.

  2. To live out the character of God—displaying the fruit of the Holy Spirit by grace—and to edify the church, strengthen and serve believers, and glorify God through the manifestation of spiritual gifts.

  3. To maintain integrity, discipline, and accountability; to uphold ethical and moral standards through Christ’s righteousness; and to unite, honor, respect, and support one another and the body of Christ—striving for excellence and continually longing for more of God.

Our Purpose

JESUS   HOUSE COLUMBIA MISSOURI a branch of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (aka Jesus House Columbia) is a center for excellence in JESUS CHRIST our Lord and Savior.

We are committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in every aspect of our life. Propagating His kingdom through evangelism, taking Jesus to all.

We hold it our purpose to raise people with passion for Jesus Christ and dedication for God’s kingdom. To build people for greatness and good success here on earth.

We are committed to the Holy Bible the authoritative word of God. The Holy Spirit and the baptism of Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. We use Biblical Principle for our lives, and by His grace living according to the scripture.

We are committed to prevailing prayer that will manifest the goodness, the grace, and the glory of God. We believe in healing, health and wholeness as God’s will for mankind.

We are committed to give gratitude to God always. Giving amazing praise and awesome worship. Creating a conducive environment for praise. We believe in the corporate worship of believers in our local church and in witnessing to our faith.

We are committed to stewardship of all assets evidenced in generous giving, tithes, and offerings.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY

To evangelize the Kingdom. We are the Body of Christ whose task is to take the gospel to all men and make disciples of them.

To operate in the character of God manifesting the fruit of Holy Spirit which is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. And the gifts of the Holy Spirit which is the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, diverse kinds of tongues and the interpretation of tongues.

To live by Righteousness maintaining ethical and moral standards through integrity, discipline and accountability.

To unite, honor, respect and support one another, and the community of believers.

To always strive for excellence, maintaining focus and refusing to settle for less than the best.
